Ingredients
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 sachets, or 8g vanilla sugar
  • 80g butter (melted)
  • 1l milk
  • 400g white flour
  • Method
    1. Beat the eggs and sugar together in a heat-proof mixing bowl.
    2. In a frying pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add it to the mixing bowl. Then, add the milk.
    3. Sift the flour, slowly adding it to the mix. Whisk well until the mixtures forms a lump-free batter. Let stand for 30 minutes.
    4. Butter a non-stick frying pan and place over medium heat. Once hot, ladle the batter into the pan. Gently, tilt the pan so that the batter forms a circle.
    5. Cook for about one minute, until the bottom is golden in places and the edges begin to lift from the pan.
    6. Using a spatula flip the crepe and cook the other side until golden brown in places.
    7. Place on a plate and cover with aluminium foil to keep warm and soft until serving.
    8. Serve hot or cold with icing sugar, jam, lemon or Nutella.
