There are so many ways to remove wax from your candle vessel once it’s done, but we’re going to walk you through one of our preferred ways, as it also removes stubborn wax.


Step 1:
Boil water in a kettle.

Step 2:
While the water is boiling, use a spoon to remove as much wax as you can.


Step 3:
Pour boiling water into the container (ALWAYS leave room at the top).


Step 4:
Wait for the boiling water to melt the wax. Once this happens, you’ll see the wax float to the top of the vessel.

Step 5:
Once the water cools, remove the wax.

Step 6:
Scrape any remaining wax.

Step 7:
Remove the wick holder with a knife.

Step 8:
Clean the empty vessel with soap & water.

Step 9:
Get creative and re-use the vessel as a planter or a makeup brush holder!
